I worked as the Lead Designer at Buying Butler to design their automotive marketplace product.
The business’ B2B & B2C solution helped customers find the best vehicle for their needs and created a series of qualified leads for suppliers. As Lead it was my role to explore the user’s journey over multiple touchpoints and create a logical, coherent experience from the first engagement right through to purchase.
Given the complexity of the product, care was needed to ensure the end to end service narrative for each user type and each subsequent, task-based user journey felt experientially consistent. I utilised discovery workshops, co-design sessions, and iterative prototyping with my multi-disciplinary team to grow our understanding of the product and drive the design process.
